Save a "Medline report" with PubMed and use it with EndNote.

 

Since March 2000, the new PubMed web entry is :

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed

Saving a Medline Report is now a bit different :

  1. As shown on this figure, after your query, you have to select "Medline" in the "Display" box and "500" in the "show" box.
    Then clic on "Text" (red square on figure)

 

  1. The window display will then change as show on the next figure. Choosing "Save as" in "File" allows you to save the data related to your query as a text file. The text file can be saved in any choosen sub-directory (just make sure you will find this file again in your computer !)

 

Then, within EndNoteŽ , the "import" fonction can be selected, using this text file and the "MEDLINE_(NLM).enf" filter.
